Companies are forged by remarkable individuals, and the competition to attract the best is fierce. As Anonymised continues to broaden its presence across the UK, Europe, and the US, we're delighted to introduce Isabel Gonzalez as our new Head of Customer Success. With Jonathan Caines moving on to a new Head of Product role, We recently had a chat with Isabel to delve into why Anonymised is a good fit, her vision for the industry and taking the mantle from Jon going into 2024.
There is no doubt that the product is awesome, Anonymised is solving long-standing problems in the programmatic industry without third-party cookie data. However, what made me fall in love with Anonymised was the motivation and passion of the team. Anonymised has a really smart and talented team of problem-solvers that are doing ground breaking work in this industry. If that doesn't define what hard work is, I don't know what will!
The first month I want to come in and learn more about the role and the way that Anonymised works, just like any new starter, so I'll be in listening mode! I'm sure there will be a lot to get up to speed with in my first month, including meeting our customers and our wider stakeholder team.
Finally, once I've built that base understanding of the team and culture, I want to start contributing my own knowledge by sharing my experience and getting feedback from our team and customers. Only from there can we make a real impact on our work going forward. 2024 is going to be a crucial year for us and the industry, so our preparation between now and Christmas is vital!
For me, the central topic that keeps appearing is the decarbonisation of the programmatic world and AI. I believe this industry is going to change faster than expected in the next 12 months. We're really in a new chapter of history in the tech industry with an incredibly fast speed of change; I do think the world will be considerably different in the next few years, hopefully with the decarbonisation within tech..!
I want to explore every day of my life that's why I spend my spare time cycling, swimming, running and travelling. Getting out and about, gives me that much needed relief from the day-to-day and is probably some of my best thinking time!
I have a few, but there is one story that says a lot about me. In 2016, I quit my job to go travelling. I went to Australia and Thailand, and after a few weeks of exploring, I landed in India a day after the government announced the demonetisation. It did make my life a bit more tricky day to day but that didn't stop me from travelling around the country on my own, although granted, I didn't see many backpackers on my way! The short version is I spent six weeks in India on a very tight budget..! Lesson learnt in keeping up with the politics of the day...
